Nowadays we often encounter a variety of safety equipment that we use unconsciously, as if we are wearing a shirt or pants. Do you know who the inventor of the tools that help improve the safety of our lives?
Airbag
Airbags were first discovered in 1951 by Walter Linderer by compressed air systems, but not fast enough to save the passengers.
Allen Breed discovered airbags use sensors and safety systems.
In 1971 the Ford company began experimenting with the airbag, and used since 1973, followed by other auto companies. Airbags became mandatory in 1998 in America.
Parachute

Parachutes was first discovered in 1783 by Sebastien Lenomand (French people), despite being sketched and imagined by Leonardo Da Vinci.
The inventor of the parachute folding is Jean Pierre Blanchard, 1793, using the silk material.
Users first parachute was Andrew Garnerin who in 1797 jumped from hot air balloon at an altitude of 8000 feet parachute silk with many witnesses and survivors.
In 1887 Captain Thomas Baldwin found the parachute cord and in 1890 Paul Letteman and Kathchen Paul to create a method for folding parachutes diransel dipunggung people brought before it opened.
Lifevest
Formally known as a personal flotation device (PFD) is a tool to float so that the head is above the water surface.
Jackets buoy was first discovered by Captain Ward, a National Rescue Vessel Inspectors Institute UK in 1854 using a lightweight material that floats on water. Since it was developed, including enhanced in 1928 by Peter Mark who introduced a life jacket that developed after blown.
Fire Extinguisher

George William Manby (l765-l854) created the first fire department in 1813. Initially just a siliner tubes containing 3 gallons of water and compressed air.
In 1860 a Frenchman named Francois Carlier create a fire extinguisher containing a mixture of water and soda and a small bottle containing sulfuric acid, which if broken will lead to a small bottle of bubbles that will squirt water.
After that the system and the contents of a fire extinguisher is increasingly refined to fight various types of fires.
Seat Belt

Volvo has the first seat belt in 1849. The first patent for a seat belt in a vehicle in the United States are given to Edward J. Claghorn (New York) in February 1885. Swedish inventor, Nils Bohlin created the modern three-point safety belt is the standard security in today's vehicles.
Bicycle Helmet
In the beginning cyclists do not use helmets, but as more and more cycling accident in 1970 Snell Foundation then require the use of helmets for cyclists. The problem is there has not been a suitable helmet.
In 1974 the company issued a Bell Biker helmet for the bike and after that pengedara helmet cyclists increasingly refined.
Zebra Cross
After several experiments, zebra cross was first used in 1000 in Britain in 1949, initially in the form of blue and yellow. There is a huge variation in the application, but generally the same size and the same color that is white-white line across the road.
Traffic Light
Discovered in 1918 by American Police Officer William L. Potts in Detroit, Michigan. He was looking for a solution to the problems of increasing collision at a traffic accident. Potts uses railroad signal lights of red, yellow and green as well as cable and controller worth 37 dollars to create the world's first traffic light. Installed in 1920 and thereafter used worldwide.
Motorcycle helmets

Motorcycle helmet was first coined by Gottlieb Daimler in 1885, in a form that is simple and not too safety devices (for low speed motorcycle). In 1953 Prof. C.F. Lombard invent and patent helmets for motorcycle safety-conscious. Based on the creation of motorcycle helmets then refined and applied throughout the world.
Condom
Securing sex has been done since the time of the Egyptian Pharaohs. The materials used vary, ranging from cloth, leather, even in ancient Japan he used a combination of skin and horns.
Modern condoms began when Charles Goodyear developed the vulcanization process of rubber, resulting in a very thin rubber, patented in 1844. It is this model that we know today.
