Maunsell Sea Forts, Relics of World War II


Maunsell Sea Forts were small fortified towers built in the Thames and Mersey estuary during World War II that intended to help the defense. Forts uniquely designed Guy Maunsell.Setelah world war was over, these forts never used again, and then in the late 50's, used for other activities is not clear.

One of the fort that later became Principality of Sealand, while some other castle used for pirate radio in the 1960a's. But some of them hilangdi fort is said to have caused the ship was hit, was also destroyed by the hurricane. So now the only thing left is Sealand.
